Maple Creek for the day !

Community Futures Southwest attended the Chamber of Commerce Meeting in Maple Creek on Wednesday. General Manager of Community Futures, John Parker, spoke to the town on the importance of Economic Growth in our communities. He addressed the ways towns can enhance their services to bring in new people to the town.

We had a wonderful lunch, did some shopping, had a great cup of coffee…Amazing day in Maple Creek!

Junior Achievement in Cabri…

Community Futures Southwest along with Innovation Credit Union sponsored and visited the High School in Cabri to bring the Junior Achievement Program to the school kids. Grades 8 and 9 students participated in the program that brings them topics such as values, interests and skills. It teaches the kids that a good education in achieving their future career’s is very important. The program teaches the kids also about budgeting.

Rush Lake: Community Success

Eastend had a brand new sign made up and put it together for the start of the Town. They also cleaned up the area by doing some landscaping and just making the sign really “pop” when you come into town! Looks Wonderful Eastend!
